I Love What I Do!

It's been a while since my last posting, but I'll try to catch up! My new semester schedule started on Aug. 29th with many new students who are very interested in skin care and creating new careers for themselves. My life is consumed with their well being in everything they think and do...I couldn't be happier! Love, DJ

Semester will soon come to an end!

Dear Friends,

My senior esthetic students are only one chapter away in completing their curriculum, with time to spare on their semester hours. They've worked very hard and I have too! With 100 hrs or less on the state clock, they can now run multiply tests online with their computers in class. I've got to keep an eye on them to see that they only run tests and not go into their facebook accounts, etc! HA! Wish me luck!

Who ever said Life was fair?

After 3 yrs of following the Casey Anthony trial, I'm just as shocked at the verdict as I was on the OJ Simpson trial. What really disappoints me besides the verdict of Not Guilty... is the fact that she will go on to collect huge amounts of money for her story!!! DJ

Sad news!

Dear Friends,
I've just heard at this late date, that one of the sweetest playmates had died...Niki Thomas. Playboy does not keep us informed of playmates deaths and she passed on 2 yrs. ago. I remember when I was shooting for the PMOY'78 pictorial she was as well and she sent me a telegram congratulating me when I won...how classy is that?!! Love and miss her, DJ

"Kitty" came home!

Spring is here!

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the springtime! The weather here is good, not to much humidity yet...seems like I never have a good "hair day"! Esthetic school will close this coming Friday for over a week...I hope my students enjoy their time off, as they have worked very hard.
